The Crown Ritual: caring for your hair, whatever its texture

Hair carries so much of how we feel about ourselves. It is also one of the first things we rush. A hair ritual is not about achieving a particular look; it is about giving your hair, and yourself, a little more patience.

Every texture is different, and you know your own hair best. These are the gentle habits that sit at the heart of our Crown Ritual.

Detangle with patience

Set aside time so you are never detangling in a hurry. Work in sections, start at the ends and move slowly towards the roots. If you meet resistance, stop and loosen the knot with your fingers before reaching for a comb. Slow is kind.

In the ritual: 5-Piece Hair Care Set.

Dry gently

Rubbing wet hair with a rough towel is a habit many of us grew up with. Instead, press and squeeze out the water, then wrap your hair in something light and soft. Let it rest while you care for your skin, then style as you normally would.

In the ritual: Multipurpose Microfibre Hair Towel.

Care from within

Hair care is also about how you look after yourself day to day: rest, water, nourishing meals and moments of calm. If you would like to add a supplement to your routine, read the label carefully and speak to your healthcare professional first, especially if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking medication or have a medical condition.

In the ritual: Hair Nourishment Capsules.

Protect your hair at night

Before bed, tie your hair loosely or cover it with something smooth so it is not pulled or crushed while you sleep. It is a small step that makes mornings feel easier.

The three pieces above come together as The Crown Ritual.
